What a pleasant surprise to stumble across Truckles Farmshop on a visit to Burnham on Sea. Busy too, and great to see people popping in for their weekly shop, supporting local business. An attractive shop front - a bit like something from a Charles Dickens novel - draws you in. We visited in the run up to Christmas and the hampers in the window were a sight for sore eyes. It's not a huge shop but there's so much in Truckles Farmshop, crammed full of delicious goodies from Somerset and the surrounding counties. You'll find preserves, biscuits and packaged goods, a really good selection of alcoholic drinks, plus a range of dairy and fresh meat.
